TECHsplore is the only pathway for international students to attend Georgia Tech (GT) as visiting non-degree seeking students without a university exchange agreement. Through this short-term study opportunity, students take classes at a top-ranked university while receiving cultural and contextual information about GT and the USA. TECHsplore participants receive academic support and on-going social engagement with the campus community while participating in fun extracurricular and cultural activities.

TECHsplore Summer is a short-term study opportunity at the Georgia Institute of Technology for approximately 50 visiting international students. This program is ideal for rising junior and senior undergraduate students from any academic discipline who are interested in studying abroad in the United States and for those considering pursuing future graduate opportunities at one of the top twenty engineering schools in the world. Georgia Tech is located in the heart of Atlanta—a growing metropolitan city with a variety of career options. Students will engage in coursework with current Georgia Tech students, and there will be a number of opportunities that will allow for exploration in the city of Atlanta. Students will be on campus taking two Georgia Tech classes (6-7 credit hours) from mid-June to early August. The application is open December 1-February 15. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so do not wait to apply, as there are limited spots.
TECHsplore Semester is the ideal program for universities that want to partner to send groups of 10+ students to study abroad at Georgia Tech for the fall (August-December) or spring (January-May) semester. Students enroll full-time, take classes within a specific academic unit, and participate in cultural exchange programs and events based on the home institution's contract with the GT Office of International Education (OIE). TECHsplore Semester partnerships require commitment from a GT academic department and the Office of International Education. Recent partnerships include the School of Mechanical Engineering, the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and the School of Aerospace Engineering.
